About the Baltimore Convention Center and your show freight
The Baltimore Convention Center is downtown near the Inner Harbor, where city streets, events and tourist traffic can slow a truck. A delivery needs a clear plan for approach and timing, and the instructions in your exhibitor manual are the guide.
Baltimore is within regional reach of our Richmond, VA base, so exhibits from Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic can often move on a short timeline. Freight from farther away moves on our nationwide network.
Advance warehouse or direct-to-show in Baltimore
For a nearby exhibit, direct-to-show can work well. The truck is close, the window is manageable, and you control the timing. For a larger or more distant exhibit, the advance warehouse gives you early delivery and fewer day-of risks. Either one follows the dates and labels in your exhibitor manual.
Baltimore shows often overlap with Washington events, so exhibitors sometimes move a booth from one city to the other. Send us both dates and we can plan the exhibit to travel between them without a trip home.
Planning tips for Baltimore shows
- Plan the approach to downtown and the Inner Harbor in advance
- Use direct-to-show for nearby exhibits with a firm window
- Share your Washington or Philadelphia dates for onward routing
- Ask about storage in Richmond, VA between shows
