Uptown towers and growing suburbs

Uptown and South End have many condos and apartments with freight elevators, reserved dock times and building rules, while NoDa, Plaza Midwood and Dilworth have older homes with tight doors and stairs. Myers Park and Ballantyne bring larger homes with long carries and several floors.

Out toward Huntersville, Matthews, Concord, Mint Hill and Fort Mill, new neighborhoods keep going up along I-77, I-85 and I-485, which means steady demand for appliance and furniture installs. North Carolina furniture from High Point and Hickory often reaches Charlotte customers and designers through our network, and the Charlotte Convention Center hosts regular shows.
